Murray Dobbin has been a keynote speaker at many union and NGO conventions over the past twenty years. He has addressed a wide variety of topics, based on his books and writings. From corporate globalization, the destructive impact of public private partnership (P3s), the TILMA “trade” agreement, the deep integration initiative and the Security and Prosperity Partnership, to the role of political figures in undermining Canadian vales.
More recently, he has been addressing the imperatives unleashed by the global economic and climate crises, including the concept of prosperity without growth, and the need for a progressive politics of meaning. Murray’s talks have been lauded as original, informative and entertaining.
